Intercall helps interpreters, language teams, students, and multilingual meeting participants follow spoken audio as it happens. It shows live captions, translates between languages, and keeps a scrollable transcript that can be reviewed during the session.

Intercall is a support layer for live communication. It helps people keep up with fast speech, accents, names, numbers, and language switching, but it is not a replacement for professional interpreters.

## What Intercall Does

- Live captions: words appear on screen as people speak, then refine into cleaner final text as more audio comes through.
- Live translation: speech can be translated across 60+ languages and 3,600 language pairs during the same session.
- Two-way language support: Intercall can help with bilingual conversations where people speak naturally in either language.
- Mixed-language support: Intercall can follow conversations where speakers switch languages during a meeting.
- Scrollable transcripts: users can look back during a session to recover a missed name, number, term, or sentence without interrupting the call.
- Interpreter support: Intercall gives interpreters and multilingual teams a visual reference alongside the spoken audio.

## How You Use It

- Chrome Extension: captures audio from the active Chrome tab, including browser-based Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, YouTube, Vimeo, and recorded video. It works from the tab audio, so it does not need microphone access, screen recording, or permission to read page content.
- Desktop App: captures native system audio on macOS and Windows. This works with desktop meeting apps, browser meetings, agency platforms, videos, and anything else playing through the computer.
- During a session: captions and translations appear live while the audio is playing. Users can keep the transcript open, scroll back, adjust the view, and continue following the conversation.

## Languages

Intercall supports transcription and translation in 60+ languages and 3,600 language pairs. It can recognize spoken languages, separate speakers when the audio allows, and translate while the conversation is still happening.
