Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Introduction

Inteclab, Inc. ("we", "our", or "us") operates Intercall. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Account and onboarding information, including your email address, name, role, intended use, previous tool, referral source, and any optional setup notes you provide
  • Product and website analytics, including page activity, feature usage, and paid transaction measurement
  • Advertising attribution data, including campaign parameters, Google click identifiers, the first landing path, and referring site
  • Audio data for transcription purposes (processed in real-time and not stored)
  • Payment information processed securely through Stripe
  • Free-trial security data, including a pseudonymous device identifier, HMAC-protected email identity, private mailbox domain, IP, and device signals, plus the resulting eligibility decision and reason

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our transcription and translation services
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send service updates and administrative messages
  • Improve and optimize our service
  • Detect automated account creation and prevent repeated or fraudulent use of free trials

4. Analytics and Advertising Measurement

The website uses Google Analytics and PostHog by default to measure page activity, product usage, advertising attribution, and paid upgrades. The desktop app also uses PostHog by default for product analytics.

Google Analytics may receive a pseudonymous browser identifier and paid transaction details such as the Stripe Checkout Session ID, plan, amount, and currency. We do not send your email address or name in the purchase event. PostHog receives product analytics events with URL query strings removed. Raw Google browser identifiers in our server-side checkout context and delivery ledger are cleared after the 35-day repair and reconciliation window. When you create an account, we may associate the initial acquisition touch in that browser with your account. A later Google Ads click before signup replaces an earlier browser touch so we can use the current paid-click identifier. This lets us measure signup, download clicks, and the first authenticated desktop activation. Raw advertising click identifiers and search-term, ad-content, and referrer details are cleared after 90 days. We retain coarse campaign source and campaign IDs for aggregate acquisition reporting.

For free-trial protection, raw email addresses remain in the account system but are not copied into the eligibility ledger. The ledger uses keyed HMAC values that cannot be used as ordinary lookup hashes. Private mailbox-domain and IP HMACs are cleared after one day, device HMACs after 90 days, and the corresponding browser cookie expires after 90 days. For granted trials, the email-identity HMAC is retained to enforce one trial per identity. Denied decisions retain the account ID, decision, reason, and assessment time without the submitted identity, domain, IP, or device signals.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

Stripe processes payments. Google Analytics and PostHog provide analytics services as described above. Cloudflare Turnstile performs human verification during account setup and may receive the verification token and network information needed to evaluate it. These providers have their own privacy policies. Review how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We may retain narrowly scoped fraud, security, transaction, or legal records when permitted or required by law, including the pseudonymous identity evidence needed to prevent repeated free trials. Contact us to exercise your rights.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
